Fluffy
Fluffy is a black housecat with the bearing of a Norwegian Forest Cat: broad-chested, heavy-coated, winter-built, and blessed with the kind of stare that suggests he already owns the castle, the treasury, and your chair.
In the old stories, dark lords arrive with thunder and banners. Fluffy prefers a quieter entrance. He steps across the floor like a shadow with whiskers, tail held high like a royal standard, and settles onto his throne with the calm certainty of a ruler who has never once doubted his right to command.
The Norwegian Forest Cat is famous for strength, climbing skill, a dense double coat, tufted ears, and a weatherproof kind of grandeur shaped for northern winters. Fluffy has all the important parts: the dramatic silhouette, the impossible dignity, the soft but untouchable aura of a creature built to survive mountain snow and still look magnificent in a doorway.
He does not chase glory. Glory comes to him. Sunbeams pause where he sleeps. Blankets become ceremonial robes. Every shelf becomes a watchtower. Every room becomes a province of his silent kingdom. Visitors may call him a cat. Those who know better understand the truth: Fluffy is the velvet-furred sovereign of this realm, and his reign is both absolute and extremely comfortable.
